We left behind us years ago the festivities of All Hollow's Eve. We have in the past always had a Gourd carving party.
Our daughter came up with the artistic slant on the entire event by letting Lady L 'paint' her pumpkin.
I hope you enjoy this as much as we did. She is a 'mini me' with her bare feet and her left arm tucked behind her back as she paints.
Maybe next year we can have an entire line of Rainbow Gourds sitting out around the house. I must have failed miserably with teaching my daughter art as she told Lady L that yellow and orange made red. We must revisit that on our next visit.
Meanwhile I pray my granddaughter continues to paint "rainbows" on everything in her life, constant reflections of God's promise.
