Success
can be defined in many ways for different people. It seems important to define
‘success’ for yourself. Some will define
it by income, but what if you make a huge income but you do not enjoy what you
do? Is this success?
If
you base ‘success’ strictly on money it would be.
What do you need to grow? |
For
many there is the enjoyment of the monetary, but more importantly, there is the
joy of creating something valuable for others.
Napoleon Hill once said, “ ..that it is literally true that you can
succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.”
I would have to add
that this is NOT something intentional you do, it comes natural to look out for
others and want them to succeed feeling good personally about what they
accomplish.
God
does it for us all the time. God is
always wanting the best for us and providing more than we need with His gifts
to us. He is our God, our champion, our
creator, our provider, our Father, our constant support and cheering section.
If we are made in our Father’s image, it seems right that we should do the same
for others.
When
you naturally are giving to help others succeed, you too will succeed because
you have given unselfishly of yourself to another human being.
In
my Dad’s words, “What goes around, comes back around.” And in my husband’s words “What you put out into
the world always circles back around to you.”
In my words, ‘What you give is what you will receive back.”

“But
the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate,
submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who
sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.”
James
3:17-18
