The Foundation, Words of my Heart by A Texas Artist Laurie Pace

The Foundation

When times are rough and you feel pretty beat down, you hold on for dear life. You pray hard that you are rooted strong enough to withstand the blow.

What keeps your rooted? What is your foundation? If you lost everything you had right now... materialistically, would you survive? If you lost your family right now, would you survive?

When winds are calm it is easy to pray and feel secure in your faith. When the wind picks up, your foundation in life will be tested.

Putting God's truth into your day and sharing it will strengthen your foundation. God is with you no matter what storm hits. You are protected.  It does not mean you cannot lose all around you...but it does mean your faith will keep you strong to endure what the storm takes from your life.
Affirm His presence daily. You are never alone.

Words of my heart, Laurie

"That one is like a man building a house, who dug deeply and laid the foundation on rock; when a flood arose, the river burst against that house but could not shake it , because it had been well built." Luke 6:48
