One of my favorite things I get daily is from Neale Donald Walsch. It is always a daily thought and a few times I will share his exact message reconnecting you to his site. Over a year ago I jotted down something from one of his daily passages about control issues.
We have very little control over life. We think we have control and most of us like to feel we are in control but are we?
Try as we might, our lives are always spinning out of control.
What you can control is your "internal world". Neale describes the internal world as the 'reality' within your mind and emotions. This my friends, is the only world you can create and control.
How you live your life and experience things is totally up to you. Your create what is in your mind and from there you build situations into how you view them. From there your emotions respond.
You cannot control the world outside, but you have control inside. Do not let your mind run away with things. Keep your thoughts and focus on the Lord and look for the best. Do not be sways by appearances in the outside world. Lean toward God to understand and guide you in your reactions. We all tend to over react when there is no reason to.
So when your world seems to be spinning out of control, hang on tight and focus on on spot...GOD... and you won't get dizzy...everything will level out.
